Huge congratulations to our girl Jo McCreeth for her appearance at The Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD this year – 7th in the world!
“Get Jo To The Adaptive Games”
We were obviously thrilled to find out that Jo’s hard work during The Open earned her a place at the Semi Finals, the second stage of qualifying for the Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD. Working closely with her PT, Coach James, she took on the virtual competition with gusto and grit, and then BAM, she was set to jet off to San Jose, California for the live finals! In order to celebrate, and help get her there, the CFDW pack came together for a sponsored WOD helping raise donations to help her cover the cost of travel and insurance.
The Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD 2026
Hammerhand made her second trip in two years to The Games last month, and forever-cool-as-a-cucumber, she finished SEVENTH in the world (climbing from 9th last year).
She celebrated three top five finishes, including an impressive PB in “Upload”, the 1RM Hang Snatch + Snatch workout, and in “Reboot”, a 2-parter with row/ski and burpees. What an achievement.
